- Rattlesnakes, skunks, and a coyote have been spotted in Del Mar and in Point Del Mar. If you see one, call San Diego County Animal Services or Humane Society: (619) 236-4250. There is no free San Diego animal control for wildlife issues.
- If you need a pool/gate key, please contact Cheryl Waggoner at (858) 395-0843 for a replacement key. The cost is $25.00.
- The Pool: The heater is turned on from May 1st to Nomember 1st for Summer and Fall swimming. The spa is always heated. Thanks for remembering to COVER the spa after your use. NO pets in the recreation area (pool, spa, tennis courts), please. Exception: Service dog accompanying person with a disability.
- Please be mindful and remember to lock all of your doors at night including your garage door, side doors and vehicles.
- Point Del Mar Residents are asked to report any suspicious activity with specific details of the person, individuals or vehicle description to our Pernicano Management Community Manager, Ashley Bernardo ashley@pernicanorealty.com

Wildlife Sightings

Various wildlife sightings, including coyotes/bobcats have been reported within the community. Per animal services, they will:
-respond when a wild creature is posing an immediate threat to humans or other animals,
-respond if the animal is sick or injured, too young to survive on its own or trapped,
-will not respond to reports of wildlife being loose or simply roaming,
-will respond if the wild animal is a rabies vector (raccoons, skunks, bats, foxes or coyotes, for

example) AND has attacked your pet,

To deter bobcats and other animals from your property, remove anything that might attract them. This includes; securing garbage bins (ensure they are tightly closed to prevent animals from scavenging for food, feed pets indoors and avoid leaving pet foods outside, as it can attract all sorts of wildlife.
If you have any additional questions or need to report a sick, injured, young animal or were attacked by an animal you should reach out immediately to Animal Services at 619.236.2341.
